Water Misting System Installation for DPCC, HSPCB & RSPCB Compliance

A water misting system is the quietest and cheapest way to hold dust at the boundary of a construction site. Fine nozzles fed by a high-pressure pump throw a fog of 10–50 micron droplets that binds airborne PM2.5 and PM10 instead of merely wetting the ground. We design, supply and install misting lines along boundary walls, scaffolding, gantries, material-handling points and C&D chutes across Delhi NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan — sized for your plot and accepted by DPCC, HSPCB and RSPCB inspectors as a recognised dust-suppression measure.

Most sites reach for an anti-smog gun first and then discover its limits. A gun covers the active work zone, but the dust that actually gets a project into trouble drifts off the boundary — from the barricade line, from the tipper waiting at the gate, from the cutting bay where tiles and stone are trimmed all day. A water misting system solves exactly that problem, because it runs continuously along a fixed line at a fraction of the water and power a cannon consumes.

Our installations use a high-pressure pump, filtered water, stainless-steel or nylon distribution lines and brass anti-drip nozzles spaced to suit the height of the run. On a boundary wall we typically mount the line at three to four metres so the fog curtain drops through the dust plume rather than above it. Around a cutting or grinding bay we build a tighter nozzle grid to knock down fines at source. At material-transfer points and C&D chutes we tie the misting into the same trigger as the conveyor so mist runs only while dust is being generated, which keeps water use honest.

Because the system is plumbed and not manned, it survives the parts of the project where discipline usually slips. There is no operator to forget the evening shift and no trolley to reposition. We add a timer or an AQI-triggered controller so misting steps up automatically when the on-site PM2.5 sensor crosses the threshold, and that link between sensor reading and suppression action is precisely the kind of evidence a DPCC, HSPCB or RSPCB inspector likes to see documented in your monthly audit report.

Installation on a live site takes one to three days depending on the length of the run, and we work the layout around your scaffolding and material movement rather than against it. How much water does a misting system use?

Far less than sprinklers — atomised nozzles typically consume 3–8 litres per minute per line, and with a timer or AQI-triggered controller the system runs only when dust levels justify it.

Can it be installed on an active construction site?
